Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining large-scale infrastructure and improving system reliability across Adobe’s cloud platforms.
Infrastructure and Operations
Engineers will participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents. The role includes analyzing system failures, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing preventive measures to avoid future issues.
Candidates will design and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS and implement automated failover and recovery mechanisms to ensure system reliability.
Infrastructure provisioning will be automated using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Strong hands-on experience with ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes is required for container orchestration and scalable deployment environments.
Monitoring and Observability
The role requires experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as:
- CloudWatch
- New Relic
- Splunk
Engineers will analyze system performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and create dashboards and alerts to detect system issues early.
Automation will also be used to enable faster responses to infrastructure incidents.
Automation and DevOps Tooling
Candidates will develop automation tools and scripts using Python and Bash to simplify operational tasks.
They will also implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments. Tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Argo may be used for deployment automation.
Developing internal self-service tools for development teams and reducing manual operational work will be a key focus of the role.
